LEARNIX is a Linux distribution which runs off CD-ROM. That means there
is no need to install LINUX on a computer for you to be able to run
powerful UNIX software. LEARNIX is based on the popular Ubuntu GNU/LINUX
distribution, with added software for building simulations, namely Radiance
and ESP-r. LEARNIX is compiled by the
Low Energy Architecture Research uNit, LEARN,
of the London Metropolitan University.

Just like mum used to make them.
This release is based on Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala". There is now thumbnail previewing for HDR images in the Nautilus file manager.
